It sounds like an impossible dream, but if you have access to at least c. £60,000 (the exact figure required obviously depends on the price of the property) it may be achievable. We recognise that this is a very considerable sum of money but, over the years, we’ve helped a number of people with disabilities to buy an affordable home of their own (typically property prices range from £200,000 - £300,000) without needing a mortgage and here are some of the main ways that these funds could be accrued:

NB: Back payments of benefits must be spent typically within 12 months to reduce below the £6,000 or £16,000 savings limit.
Buying a home without a mortgage can help you to move faster, build up capital in your new home and leave you with a little more money to meet your day-to-day costs too.
For more information about buying a home without needing a mortgage call us on 02476 402211 or email enquiries@mysafehome.info
If you do still need a mortgage to help you to buy a home of your own we may be able to help with this too, again please just call or email us to find out more.
If you rely on lifelong disability benefits for your income it may be possible to do just that.
Wishing all of our home owners and supporters a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
