We're delighted to announce that, thanks to the open minded attitude of two of the UK's most forward thinking lenders, Saffron Building Society and Hanley Building Society, we've been able to develop new mortgage products that can accomodate the changes made by the Government to SMI benefits.
These Societies will be offering mortgages across their respective areas. In the case of the Saffron Building Society this covers: Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, London, Kent, East and West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The Hanley Building Society is coming on board on 1st January 2012 and they will enable us to extend our coverage across Staffordshire, Derby and Wolverhampton.
This 'local coverage' concept is something we're keen to extend with other like-minded lenders, enabling us to offer home ownership opportunities across England and Wales once more. Watch this space...
That's not all though. We've recently been collaborating with Protected Tomorrows, a US based pioneer of innovative life planning services for people with a disability and we've launched a brand new business, MySafeFuture, to bring their unique process over here to the UK. We were delighted to have recently been invited to co-host a webinar with The NSG about home ownership for people with disabilities and we were privileged to have been joined by the parents of two of our happy home owners too.
We were delighted to have been contacted by the BBC recently for our thoughts about the affordable homes funding 'top up' of £500million.
We are delighted to be featured in the February/March issue of First Time Buyer Magazine.
